A student at the National School of Fine Arts in Paris, René Devillario's masters were Jean-Jacques Henner, Tony Robert-Fleury and Jules Laurens.
He presents his works at the Salon des Artistes Français in Paris where he has won several medals.
Decorated with academic palms, he was knight of the Legion of Honor in 1930.
